Our Story

Day 1 at the new office (we have desks now)
Mike
Mike Natenshon started Marine Layer because he couldn’t find new t-shirts that fit and felt like his precious few favorites and his girlfriend was going to dump him if he kept wearing the same 5 tees from college. It took about a year of trial and error and a heap of credit card debt to get the first shirt made, but it was a beauty.
Sarah
After sending 2 of the first 5 shirts sold to the wrong people it became clear that Mike’s skill set was limited (at best). Enter S.L.V.P. Sarah joined team ML to make sure this ship runs smoothly. Production, operations, suggestive pictures in the fitting room…She is Vice President of all the important stuff and currently the weakest pop-a-shot player at the company.

The guy behind the guy and current office leader in shuffleboard wins

John Shea, Intern
Yep, that’s John in the fridge. Without him this would all still be possible.
*Update* John recently left Marine Layer (and the fridge) to attend business school at Dartmouth. He is currently one of the class leaders at handing out his business card.
